The Use of Organizational Innovation Concepts in Manufacturing Companies

Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to map the adoption of selected innovative organizational concepts in manufacturing companies. A further objective of our research is to find out how different organizational concepts are represented in different manufacturing company’s types and how they are related to the use of advanced manufacturing technologies. Based on a sample of 118 Slovenian manufacturing companies collected through the 2018–19 European Manufacturing Survey edition, results give information about the most used organizational concepts, their utilization degree, planned use and average year of implementation. In addition, results give evidence that the use of selected organizational concepts is very positively related to the use of specific advanced manufacturing technologies.
