Abstract

NEUCC (Northern Europe University Computing Center) was a computing center established at the Technical University of Denmark in 1965 with equipment donated by IBM. The paper describes the negotiations before establishing the center, the installation and the first years of operation. The center became important for the introduction of computers in the Nordic countries, and very many got their first introduction to computing by visiting and using the center.
