Abstract

It is now fifteen years since the replica of the Manchester University Small-Scale Experimental Machine (“Baby”) was handed over to MOSI, the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. This article summarises some of the experience of the exposure of the object to the public from the point of view of the volunteers who maintain and demonstrate it.
